Exploring the Process - Step 9: Establish a monitoring, reporting and evaluation system Effective monitoring and evaluation is key to ensuring that the UNP achieves its goals and adapts as necessary. A robust system allows progress to be tracked, areas for improvement to be identified and adjustments to be made to improve outcomes. Transparency is essential to building trust, and sharing data with the public ensures that the impact of the plan is visible. This step also fulfils Milestone 6: Monitoring and reporting system, ensuring that the progress of the UNP is tracked and adjustments are made as necessary.
