This deliverable presents the analysis and process carried out to evaluate the ecosystem services created or reinforced by the implementation of NBS in five demonstration cities. For this purpose, a selection of ecosystem services was first made based on UPSURGE’s objectives, identifying regulating ecosystem services as the main focus of the project. Subsequently, two models were developed to understand the socio-ecological system of urban NBS and their complex ecosystem-supply mechanisms.
