NbS Hubs community

Within UrbanByNature, NbS Hubs support cities in advancing nature-based solutions by building on local priorities, existing governance structures, and ongoing urban processes. Each hub is shaped by its local context and focuses on topics most relevant to participating cities and partners. Our NbS Hubs address areas such as integrating nature-based solutions into urban regeneration and city-wide strategies, strengthening biodiversity in urban areas, supporting co-production approaches, and exploring the benefits of nature-based solutions for health, well-being, and resilience.

The NbS Hubs contribute to UrbanByNature’s learning and capacity-building activities through formats such as webinars, workshops, peer exchange, and targeted dialogue between municipalities, researchers, and other urban actors. These activities support cities in translating UrbanByNature frameworks and tools into practice. Together, the NbS Hubs reflect a diverse set of place-based experiences that strengthen UrbanByNature’s collective understanding of how nature-based solutions can be planned, embedded, and sustained in cities.
