The second UrbanByNature (UbN) China webinar focused on STEP2/EXPLORE of the UbN programme and explored the enabling conditions and barriers to implementing nature-based solutions (NBS). In this joint video, Carolina Madruga from Tecnalia introduces the CLEVER Cities approach to leveraging NBS in vulnerable neighborhoods and presents an overview of the general barriers that were identified. Sean Bradley from Groundwork London follows this with a deep-dive into the specific challenges encountered in London’s CLEVER Action Lab in Thamesmead and the measures used to address these.
