UrbanByNature South Eastern Europe Hub Webinar #5: Monitor and Upscale

Supported by the CLEVER Cities project, UrbanByNature is continuing capacity building in the South Eastern Europe region!

The fifth session of the UrbanByNature South Eastern Europe series will focus on step 6 of the UbN Methodology, MONITOR. This step is about monitoring local implementation progress according to priorly identified indicators and evaluating the results, specifically reflecting on evaluation of the soft process of co-creation as well as on social impacts of nature-based solutions. The webinar will start with an introduction on the CLEVER Cities Co-creation Guidance and Social Monitoring Framework for measuring NBS impacts, presented by Israa Mahmoud from Politecnico di Milano. Sharing practical insights from the region, Iva Bedenko from the City of Zagreb will contribute experiences from monitoring nature-based solutions as implemented under the proGIreg project, with a focus on co-creation processes in the “Living Lab” district of Sesvete.

During the webinar, participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences and address questions to the webinar speakers:

  • Iva Bedenko, Architect, City Office for Economy, Environmental Sustainability and Strategic Planning, City of Zagreb, Croatia

The webinar will be moderated by Ana Mitić-Radulović, President of the Management Board, Centre for Experiments in Urban Studies - CEUS.
