Join the final NBS EduWORLD UrbanByNature webinar: Nature for All – Making Nature-based Solution Education globally accessible and inclusive

nature for all

The #6 and final NBS EduWORLD UrbanByNature Webinar "Nature for All – Making Nature-based Solution Education globally accessible and inclusive" will take place online on 3rd July 2025, 15:00-16:30 CEST

As global interest in NBS continues to grow in response to biodiversity loss, climate change, and sustainable development challenges, it is critical to address who can access NBS education – and who is left out. Educational inequalities linked to disability, gender, ethnicity, socio-economic status, and geographic location can prevent many communities from meaningfully engaging with and benefiting from NBS initiatives.

This webinar will explore:

  • The structural and systemic barriers that marginalised and underrepresented groups face in accessing NBS education,
  • How inclusive and context-sensitive learning spaces can promote engagement and empowerment,
  • The importance of recognising local knowledge, cultural diversity, and equitable participation in designing effective and fair NBS education frameworks.

Organised as part of Horizon Europe's NBS EduWORLD project, this event will bring together a variety of stakeholders engaged in NBS education and implementation to share tools, strategies, and real-life case studies that demonstrate how to make NBS education globally inclusive, culturally relevant, and accessible to all.
